.NET Core 3.0 Timeline

Hello,

We use App Engine for one of our API servers and are curious what the timeline for supporting .NET Core 3.0 is. We're fairly new to the platform and don't know how often new versions are added. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

You should not be worried of timelines and obsolescence: any such event would be announced well in advance, at least one year prior to the cutoff date. There usually is a subsequent long period of continued support for applications using the prior version; there is no risk to have to implement changes in haste. What concerns .NET Core SDK, LTS version, it may be worthwhile checking .NET download page, and related Microsoft documentation, to keep up-to-date with prospective updates, as well as .NET on Google Cloud Platform.
