I have no idea if I'm in the right place.  I'm floundering to figure out what I'm doing.
I have a google account.  I want to upgrade it into a business account so I can have my google calendar on my site and allow people to schedule appointments and not see the other names of scheduled people (medical application).  I know I want the Google business account.  They keep changing the name and I am confused so I'm not sure which name it is.  I believe it is about $5 a month and I can keep my current URL address.

My son said I can upgrade my regular google account to the business account so I am only managing one account.
Is this true?
Or, Do I need to make a completely new account for my business account and it is separate from my current regular free google account (calendar, email, photos, etc.).

I would sure appreciate if someone could enlighten me.  My head is spinning with confusion since online stuff is not my business focus.
Thanks
jdr

You'd be looking for G Suite (formerly Google Apps), and the relevant forum is the G Suite Help Forum

You can use the same Google account email address you have now with your G Suite account, but you will need to rename your non-business Google account to something else after you sign up. The accounts stay separate and don't get merged into one account.

For more help with this, please post a question to the G Suite forum, or contact the free technical support you receive when you sign up for a G Suite account.
