I want to send emails from another account in python mail API GAE. I found thishttps://cloud.google.com/appengine/docs/python/mail/#Python_Sending_mail

So I tried to authorize my gmail id from Google Developer Console > App Engine > Setting > Edit Application Setting

but this is showing

"Unable to add an email address from another domain"

Hello,

Application administrators can add themselves

Please make sure first the gmail id you're trying to add to 'Email API authorized senders' list is either an editor or owner of the project. You can then login to the developers console with that (gmail) account and should be able to add it's address to the list.

I hope it helps. Cheers!

Yes if you want to add a...@gmail.com to 'Email API authorized senders' list on a project owned by x...@gmail.com then the steps below need to be followed.

1. x...@gmail.com (or any other owner of the project) logs into permissions page for the project.
2. Adds a...@gmail.com as an owner or editor.
3. a...@gmail.com logs into App Engine settings page.
4. Adds himself to the 'Email API authorized senders' list.
