The Google Cloud Shell offers only [5GB of persistent storage](https://cloud.google.com/shell/docs/how-cloud-shell-works#persistent_disk_storage) and I'm assuming that you are exceeding this limit durin some operation.
You can either clean your home directory or if you need more than 5GB, provision a [Compute Engine instance](https://cloud.google.com/compute) with enough disk space for your needs.
