The link works for me. Both the one you've quoted in your message. and
the one on the actual page.

Just redirects to
https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/google-appengine

Strange. I've got redirected to http://groups.google.com/d/forum/google-appengine?pli=1&authuser=0&fromgroups which gave me 404. Now it opens ok. Probably a bug with authentication layer.
