Hi friends,

I am having an cloud app which I have requested for verification.

Below are the details:
Application type: Public
Scopes using: email, profile, openid (the default ones)
Application Homepage link, Application Privacy Policy link and Application Terms of Service link has URLs defined.

With the above information I have submitted for verification. It is being almost a month now but still the status says "Your consent screen is being verified. This may take up to several days. Your last approved consent screen is still in use.".

Do I need to provide more information or how would I change my app side to get the verification?

Is there a way as to check the status of the verification? like it is not approved yet because of these reasons so that I can act on them?

We might have people faced the same thing and appreciate your comments which will be helping me a lot.

Thanks,
Sam

Has your app verification progressed meanwhile? You should keep in contact with the consent screen verification team, who is expected to verify and eventually approve your consent screen. You might be well entitled to support, so opening a support ticket in place of Groups postings should allow for direct and personalized help in this matter. You may also consider opening an issue in the Public Issue Tracker, if you need guidance in checking with the verification team.

I have this same issue. Can you provide the correct link to create a support ticket for this particular issue?

Hello,

I will try to assist the best I can.

There is an internal escalation process for this request. However, it requires a project ID, to which I strongly suggest you do NOT post this in this public forum. As George mentioned above, you may create a private request using the Public Issue Tracker link. The private request will not show your post publicly, but only with Google.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Alexis

What is the URL to do that, please? Much appreciated.

Hello,

If your application verification process is stuck, probably the Trust & Safety-API Team is expecting some further information from you.

The Trust & Safety-API Team, who handles this process, follows up via emails from “api-oauth-dev...@google.com” that are being sent directly to the project owner. Kindly check with the project owner if they have received any email requiring information from T&S-API Team

If the email has not been received, please make sure that there aren’t any Gmail filters blocking emails from the T&S-API Team. Additionally, you may check in Junk E-Mail or Spam folders as well. Subsequently, please identify the email and respond to it.

If you have received and already replied to that specific email, please note that the response from the team may take up to 5-7 business days. [1]

If in any case you have not received a response from the T&S-API Team after 7 business days, please create a ticket case via Google Cloud Platform Support channels [2] and they will contact the relevant team to escalate the case.

Sincerely,

Artemis

Hi Artemis,

I received an auto response that the email address referenced is not checked. Do you have the URL of the form referenced in this thread or an alternative that is checked?

Yes, I have checked spam. Much appreciated.

Hello,

Could you please clarify which form URL is referenced on this thread? Do you mean the Public Issue Tracker [1]?

Nevertheless, the escalation process of an app verification is an internal process, hence I would recommend you to open a ticket on the Support channels so they can assist you more efficiently regarding this issue.

Kind regards,

Does anyone know how to connect with support for the People API team? Much appreciated.

Hello,

You may find the instructions on how to get help regarding People API here [1]. It is stated that " Feedback about the core product can be submitted via the Feedback or Report a problem links in the product user interface." In addition to that you may use StackOverflow [2] to field technical questions, or Public Issue Tracker [3] to report potential new issues that you have encountered along with the corresponding feedback.

I hope this information helps.
