Memcache down?

Our app "kanal5play" is currently unavailable. We are seeing a lot of these errors:
com.google.appengine.api.memcache.MemcacheServiceException: Memcache get: exception getting 1 key (teaser-bar-list-KANAL9)
Caused by: com.google.apphosting.api.ApiProxy$CapabilityDisabledException: The API call memcache.Get() is temporarily unavailable: Memcache is temporarily unavailable. Please see http://code.google.com/status/appengine for more information.
	at com.google.apphosting.runtime.ApiProxyImpl$AsyncApiFuture.success(ApiProxyImpl.java:475)
	at com.google.apphosting.runtime.ApiProxyImpl$AsyncApiFuture.success(ApiProxyImpl.java:382)
Anyone else seeing this?

same error messages about memcache. amongst others....

here memcache and other services are blazing fast (though it's running in python runtime).

thanks, yes working again.  Google we need a full report on what happened here please.   Will give my clients much cause for concern.

Memcache is unavailable to me too. Makes my app super-slow :(

Not sure if this is the same thing but the current implementation of GAE/J memcache has a bug whereby an infrastructure failure can render an app unavailable. Unless you're OK with your app being down, star this  http://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/issues/detail?id=6236 and start pressuring Google to fix it.
