Hi guys, I'm trying to migrate my local perforce depot to the cloud for better team access. I'm struggling to figure out the best engine for this. A VM seems like overkill for what is essentially a service controlling a file hierarchy on a storage unit. I was thinking Cloud Storage would be the solution. I was later suggested to try the API Engine from reddit, and I'm getting pretty confused. Should I run a VM with Linux on it, or is there a better way to version control with perforce in the cloud?

Could you clarify what you mean by "better team access" as this will help identify the best Cloud product to host your Perforce depot.
Note that moving the Perforce process to the Cloud will not actually change the way Perforce was made to work. You may want to consider visiting the Perforce Community for additional help on this, as Google does not support Perforce products.
