I send mail to myself and to others from GAE, but some of the mail to
myself GMail puts in the spam folder with the warning that it is
forged. How do I prevent this?

My GAE and GMail use the same Google account.

The exact warning is: "This message was likely forged and did not
originate from your account. [http://mail.google.com/support/bin/
answer.py?hl=en&ctx=mail&answer=50200]"

My main concern is email I send to others should not have this
problem.

My GAE address is example.appspot.com and my email is
exa...@gmail.com. Of course I don't have DNS control over these. Is
that what you mean?
