Hi,

I don't find a gcloud cli command to list/create/delete/update monitor uptime checks.

I'm also trying to create uptime check with alert policy attched via terraform. Want to know how the json is constructed for the uptime check + alert policy attached and use that in the terraform code.

Regards,
Sowmiya

Hi Sowmiya,

You can use "REST Resource: projects.uptimeCheckConfigs" to manage uptime checks. You may take a look at this article explaining how to automate the management of Uptime Checks in conjunction with alerting policies. Also some examples are explained in Terraform website.

I would like to add that "gcloud services enable monitoring" command enables the Monitoring API and you can use the "gcloud monitoring" group commands to manage Monitoring dashboards. I am not sure if this would work for your usecase. If not, feel free to raise a feature request via the Issue Tracker and provide us with more clarification about your usecase so that the Cloud SDK product team would evaluate this feature.

I’m not able to create secrets even though I have admin person for creating secrets. I’m able to create for other project but not https://console.cloud.google.com/security/secret-manager?folder=&organizationId=&project=app-launcher-qa-a6aabc6c and couple more.
Following is the screenshot for the error.
