Google currently channels developer questions to Stack Overflow.

On SO Google Cloud is often denigrated , sometimes IMO unfairly

Google should insource this function, even if it costs a little more

a) the co is playing catchup and needs to try harder, throw more resources at supporting users

b) you can better control criticism and brand image
