Hi,

The dashboard of my application ( cocoslive.appspot.com ) is
displaying this message:

"warning Your application is exceeding a quota: Workflow Backend Index
Task Count help"

What does this mean ?

According to the "Quota details", all my quotas are not exceeded.

Any idea ? How can I increase the quota of "workflow backend index" ?

Thanks,

riq

Hi,

This quota is associated with managing the number of indexes that can be created in a short amount of time for an application.  It's set high enough that we rarely see applications that exceed it.

In your case, all of your application's indexes were built when the quota was exceeded, so it shouldn't have had an affect on your application. It only would have prevented you from uploading additional indexes.

However, I have reset the quota, so everything should be fine.

Marzia...

We have a production app @ promevogpanel that is a paid app, experiencing this limit as well.

If there is a reset or a limit you could lift, that would help us greatly.

When you speak of "managing the number of indexes that can be created in a short amount of time",
do you really mean, "managing the number of writes to the index bigtables",
or "managing the number of new indexes added to the app".

If you meant the former, rather than the latter,
would you suggest distributing the number of writes to indexed entities more evenly?
