Access to billing account and daily budget denied

Hello,

I'm trying to access my AppEngine billing account at console.cloud.google.com/settings?project=[my-project-id]. 

When I click the "Billing account link", I get the following message:

To request access to billing account ‘[My-project] Billing Account’ please contact one of the billing account’s administrators:

• But, the account administrator listed after this message is me! The exact same email address I'm logged in with, which is the application owner!

Similarly, I'm unable to change the daily budget under application settings; the edit field is greyed out.

Fortunately this is still working on the old dashboard (appengine.google.com), otherwise I'd be totally screwed.

Is this a bug?

This is a known issue when accessing the billing account details from the App Engine dashboard page. As a workaround you should be able to access the billing account using the other links in the console, for example 'gear' icon -> Billing accounts or from the main menu -> Billing in the beta console.

I can access the billing account as you describe, but I don't see a way to adjust the daily spend limit for a specific app. So if the app goes over quota, I don't currently see any way of fixing this from the new console.

Anyway, as long as this functionality is accessible from the old dashboard (appengine.google.com) I'm OK.

Hi Michael,

If you need to access the Daily Budget, you can do this in the new console by going to App Engine -> Settings (the other 'Settings' at the bottom of the left sidebar).
