cannot add GAE app to google apps domain

i've noticed that GAE apps can be added to GA domains and tried to do
it. when i'm adding app to primary domain it's ok, but when i do this
for alias it says i can't.

This is a very annoying and hindering constraint and I'm really
surprised it even exists...
