Hi all,

I'm looking to use naked domain like http://my_domain.com/ with Google
AppEngine.

I've learn that I can not use CNAME record for naked (root/2nd level)
domain to point it to GHS.GOOGLE.COM.

But I found I can setup A records to point to specific IP addresses.

If your access URL is of the form http://mydomain.com, also known as
the naked domain, you will need to take some additional steps with
your registrar.

Once you've signed in to your account with your registrar's website,
configure the A records for your domain to point to the following IPs:

* 216.239.32.21
* 216.239.34.21
* 216.239.36.21
* 216.239.38.21
=======================

Sounds good but I have a problem - I could specify just a single IP
for A record for my_domain.com at my hoster DNS control panel. That
workes perfect at the moment but I guess it's not reliable enough.

My domain name is registered with GoDaddy. Does anyonbe know am I able
to manage DNS records from them without having host plan and are they
allow to specify more than one IP for an "A" record?

My concern is that I want to host ASP.NET apps on subdomain of my
master domain. To do that I probably will need dublicate DNS
configuration both with my registrar and my hoster.

Any ideas for a best way to do the DNS configuration in my case?

I believe it's a common issue so your answer will be appreciated not
just by me.

Thanks in advance,

godaddy sucks for granular DNS administration

I have naked domains at godaddy, but use dnsmadeeasy.com for DNS, that
cheap and so much better.
