Mail API question: Email message is sent to sender too. Are there any way to prevent this?

Hi,

My application uses Mail Service through Java API, and the app sends an email from login user. Email is successfully sent to recipients. However the email is also sent to the sender's account. Are there any way to prevent sending the mail to the sender?
