Apple Push Notification using PHP

Hello,

I've been looking around to see if the GAE PHP supports me being able to write an implementation to push notification to Apple. I saw this: https://cloud.google.com/solutions/mobile/ios-push-notifications/ so it looks like its supported in only Java? There is a link to this: https://cloud.google.com/appengine/docs/java/sockets/. I was wondering since it is supported in Java if this is allowed as well in PHP?

Well I just through a sample code I found that sends out a push notification and it worked, so that answers that.

Hi Terence,

Happy you found your own solution. I was about to look into how to do it on PHP, as I hadn't tried yet. Glad you found it yourself!

For future readers who may run into a similar issue, do you mind posting the link to the code you found? :)

This tutorial has a simplepush.php sample. Modify as needed for GAE and it should work.
