Hi,

I'm using  the py2 app engine runtime, with webapp2 and with the 'deferred' library.

Yesterday, at 19:33 CEST, new instances suddenly started throwing "Request global variable is not set" errors, without us changing anything. Old instances were still behaving fine. Since then, all our instances started throwing this error. Did something change in the deferred builtin handler or something, due to which the webapp2 request global variable (which we use in our deferred handler) is no longer set?

thanks,
Remko

Hello Remko,

There are no instance-related problems that would explain these errors, at the moment. To examine this issue we would normally need the project number involved, and sample code to reproduce the issue independently here.
