On very very early discussions, I remember someone mentioning even x-rated apps being allowed, at that time, I remember checking the terms of service and seeing nothing against them, I wasn't interested in building an x-rated app, yet, it was still nice to see we were on a relaxed platform

I want to build a fun new app, yet, I'm worried it might steer into unexplored territories, and I wonder what happens if it gets heated, can Google cease the operations of the app without notice and void the data for example, as an extreme scenario?

The app will be a bit similar to the "Ripple" currency, normally, cryptocurrencies are liked as they are decentralised, Ripple is actually centralised, therefore it's fast, my project can be decentralised too, but I want to center it to App Engine to reduce complexities and increase the speed and reliability

In an extreme scenario, Google can take down your application if it violates the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. There is nothing that prevents you from creating a cryptocurrency app after free trial. However, please be mindful that these kinds of online activity may be considered by a lot of other systems as fraudulent and therefore, when such an unfortunate event occurs, there is a chance that your Google Cloud Platform services may be affected due to being tagged with fraudulent activity. Having said that, it really is up to you if and how you want to push through with your Google Cloud Platform services.
