Is there a procedure to follow for production issues?

Yes, pray and hope that someone from Google feels interested. ;)

I reported this issue multiply times, but no response from Google.
The last days the Java instances seems to be very unreliable.

*Starred*

It's the worst when there is a production issue with App Engine especially when the system status shows everything is normal.

It's just like you said, there is nothing we can do besides pray, hoping that someone at Google looks at it.  Which doesn't seem likely given that their console shows no production issues.  There should be a better communication channel (two way) for dealing with production issues!

Anyway, things seem better for my app :D

I wish there was a way to move the app to another machine, cluster, etc...when encountering this type of error.

What is the chance that new instances starts on a different machine? Do app instances tend to run on the same machine?

Assuming these errors are due to a faulty machine, would repeatedly shutting down instances make it becomes likely that the new instance isn't on a faulty machine?

This is currently available if you sign up for a Premier Account.

Nick,

We're looking into this and will update you if there are any system-wide issues.  If you are looking for support options with a higher SLA, you may want to consider upgrading to a Premier Account.

Loading request are faster the last 24h (back to around 40s instead of >60s).
But there is still the issue that instances are started and stopped
again and again without any reason.

Can somebody from Google please check the last comment and reopen the
following ticket:

http://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/issues/detail?id=7982

Thanks!
