Hi, I accidentally clicked the upgrade in the cloud console, can I revert back to free trial? if yes, how can I revert back?

It is possible to extend the trial period before your trial expires. For this and other similar problems, it is best to contact Google Billing Support directly.

After clicking the “upgrade” button, it becomes too late to revert, and one cannot enjoy the free trial status any more. If you would like to still profit from the remaining credit you initially received when signing for the free trial, reverting to that status is not necessary. Your remaining credit is still there and you may continue using whatever amount is left. This remaining credit from the trial period gets automatically applied to your account. The amount is accessible and still free for you.

To avoid charges, you can disable billing for your project. Many services cannot be enjoyed any more after disabling billing, but you are safe from any further charges, as long as you prefer to still maintain this situation.

If i disabled billing, will I still be able to use the vm? Given that you said that the other services are disabled, is the vm included in the disabled?

Google App Engine has a free quota that applies regardless of whether you're in the free trial. This means you can run a web application at low traffic and capacity for free, both during and after the free trial.

I've read the document, and based on what I've understand, as long as I have the credits for the free trial, my account will not be charged, am I right? So can I just disable the billing when I've consumed the credits?

That's right, your remaining credit is still there and you may continue using whatever amount is left.
