I'm new to app engine and need to develop one relatively simple app the tutorial for the basic app engine / datastore was helpful and can be easily modified to create a prototype but when looking into other features rather than sticking with the bookshelf model there are expenses, questbook etc... 

why don't you guys use one scenario for all your samples, examples and tutorials so once the cloud project is used your examples can be used against it - as it stands out of github your examples require a bunch of work to slap together a quick and dirty prototype using more than the basic features and ideas ?

QQ: What was the GAE/Datastore tutorial you followed and what was the sample feature you were looking for that was lacking on the tutorial?

I looked at several my issue/ suggestions aren't about the quality it's about the contexts they use it would help if all examples used bookshelf or quest book so you could build one r&d project and when testing a new datastore feature use that

Hi Bruce, thank you for clarifying the issue. Your idea seems like a very good feature to have on our documentation tutorials. I highly encourage you to submit a feature request as described in this article so that proper attention and weight will be given to it. We monitor that issue tracker closely. 

I look forward to this feature request.
