Does GAE support Asynchronous Servlet now?

Hello,

I tried to use startAsync, looks like it can not go through.

I already added annotation "@WebServlet(urlPatterns = "/xxxx", asyncSupported = true)

I saw 1 post that said it isn't supported now. Is it true?

Async servlets are not yet supported in App Engine. The engineering team is aware of this feature request and are working on implementing it. You can follow the progress in the Public Issue Report. All further updates and communications will occur there.
