Is GAE still being supported?

There has not been an update of com.google.appengine.orm: datanucleus-appengine since Feb, 2013. And the Servlet is still 2.0. I would like to use Apache Wicket 7 which requires Servlet 3.

Looking around, it appears that maintenance has fallen off about a year ago.

Just wondering what the plans are for GAE support of current execution environments for Java.
