Over the Christmas Holidays I migrated our Application from the Master/Slave Data Store to the High Replication Data Store.

Everything is working fine, but I was wondering if its safe to delete the old M/S Data Store Application or do I need to keep it for the routing purposes of all the apps connecting to the old name?

Thanks

Hi Carsten,

If you used the HRD migration tool to migration your application, the
final step is an 'alias' operation that route all traffic coming to
the M/S appid to the new HRD appid.

Thus it should be safe to delete your old application in that case,
and it won't affect traffic going to your HRD application.

Hope that helps.
