Unable to use GAE for my domain?

Hey there,

I'm a bit upset, I wanted to switch my S3 hosted sites to GAE.

I have a primary domain in Google Apps, and an additional one
fubar.tld as alias.
Now I want to add an application on fubar.tld to GAE..

As far as I read this is not possible without losing the domain in the
existing primary domain as an alias.
Are you kidding me or is this the truth?

I've learned the hard way that it is a pain to use google apps
accounts as normal google accounts, and now this?
Do I really have to use amazon only because of this?

I didn't have any problem using Google Apps domain aliases for my GAE apps.

May I ask how your setup looks like?
Did you create the GAE app with the administrator user of the primary
domain?

I have just added the alias domain to the Application Settings / Domain Setup in the admin console.

And then added the GAE app in the Google Apps domain admin console.

Did you add the GAE app as the admin user of that domain/alias?
Or a normal user in Google Apps?

I've added it as a normal user, and it doesn't work :(
