rate limiting in library?

Hi there,

 just started using the google api client, and wondering if I need to build some sort of rate limiting in my code, or if it's already in the library?

When testing (in my example) the GooglePredictionAPI outside of the library, if I made requests too frequently I'd get an (expected) error back from the API around making too many requests. Now that I'm using the library, I'm wondering if there is some sort of throttling built in.
