Hi there I love this library. Really easies up not only accessing
Google APIs but also other Atom-REST applications.

Any chance there will be a GWT port? I am assuming that (given the
libraries it uses) it doesn't work for now. I may look into it if I
get time but I was wondering if there were plans for this.

Cheers.

I would imagine that with appEngine works but I meant using some sort
for cross-site loading. I know it's a long shot but I though it would
be cool to do widgets without requiring server-side.

Hello,

I am in fact planning on releasing a library specifically for GWT, allowing calls to be made directly from the browser, without any need for a server.  It's not quite ready for alpha release yet, but it will be soon, at which point I'll make sure to announce it to this group.

So stay tuned!

Yep. http://gwt-google-apis.googlecode.com includes generated libraries for specific APIs. If you don't see the one you need, file about or email me.
