I wasn't able to properly integrate the appengine-gcs-client api library in
my Android app and I cannot find any proper examples online. It's also a
very requested feature on sites such as stack exchange etc.

Unfortunately we have stopped adding API specific samples on this site. But
you could take a look at our instructions on how to use Google API client
libraries on Android:
