I am trying to set environment to use Gmail C++ API.

I am referring following page to setup client library on my linux machine.

Where I will get googleapis-cpp_public.tar mentioned in this link?

I got it from here - https://github.com/google/google-api-cpp-client and the calender api example mostly seemed to worked for me on Ubuntu-Mate although with some errors.

Follow the read me in the distribution rather than the hosted instructions. They seem more up to date with the present g-suite g-acounts and g-console page layout.
