I'm thinking of @Blame, used similarly to @author, along with a reason.
I'm not sure if that should be an enum or free-text.

Interesting, supposing there's an enum, what sort of reasons were you thinking it might have. Are you thinking something like @Blame(person="John Doe", reason=FLAGRANT_USE_OF_STATIC_METHODS)?

Not quite, no, but that would be better than what I originally had in mind.

We added @Blame to version 1.0.1 and opted for free text, since we
didn't want to limit the potentially wide range of reasons. Thanks for
the suggestion Zan.
