Making Google Data Studio Compatible with Team Drives on Google Drive

Hello!

Does anyone know why Google Data Studio reports aren't able to be moved to Team Drives on Google Drive? I believe this wasn't an issue during Q4 last year so it must've changed sometime this year.

Is that an easy switch we can turn on? Would help me keep my Data Studio reports organized!

The same behavior happens here. I would like to save my GDS report in a team drive, but when I copy or move the file from my personal drive to the team drive, the file:

1. cannot be opened anymore form Google Drive
2. disappear from my GDS account

Are you sure it all used to work as expected in the past?

We've had problems from the start and gave up trying to store Data Studio reports in Team Drive.
