Google blocks access to Google Analytics add-on

Hi team,

 

I’m trying to add the Google Anaytics add-on to Google sheet but this error keeps showing up, it is as below attachment and says: This app is blocked

This app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account. To keep your account safe, Google blocked this access.

 

I’m using this to export historic data from GA360, could you please help?

+1 on this issue. This blocks an integral part in our operations. A fix as soon as possible would be appreciated.

Hi all,

it looks like the plugin has been classed as 'less secure'. If you enable less secure apps:

https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6010255?hl=en#zippy=%2Cif-less-secure-app-access-is-off-for-your-account

Then the plugin will work, you may have to refresh your sheet (you will find its been installed anyway).

i can active unsecure apps.it looks like this function is switched off.
Is there a native solution to use the Google Analytic Addons again?
It can't be that Google simply shuts down its own plugins, can it?

I unfortunately can't enable "less secure" extensions on Google accounts with 2-step verification on...

Any news on enabling this app again?
