Error. Authorization denied for mail merge.

I've tried to authorize mail merge on my google sheets. My parental guardian authorized it yet it still gave me an error message with a big red triangle prompting me to go back to safety. It says mail merge is a 3rd party app not from Google so my account needs to verify it. It doesn't show me how to verify it. Help?
