Hi guys; how are you?

I'm working in a GA dashboard with google-analytics-spreadsheet-add-on in my sheets.

The error that it show me: This action would increase the number of cells in the workbook above the limit of 2000000 cells

Why happens that?

I have created only 45 reports, 45 "add on" calls.... and need show more relevant data in my panel.

Do you know some way to solve this problem?

Thanks.

Adrian

I think Google Sheets has a limit of 2 million cells per spreadsheet, so that's probably what the error is. The only option is probably to break you spreadsheet up into multiple spreadsheets.

Thanks Philip for your answer.

Is "one spreadsheets" the same that "new file" ??

I think so, but ¿Can i connect both spreadsheets to share data? ¿Can you tell me how to do?

Greetings

Take a look at the "Spreadsheet URL" configuration option to see how to export certain reports to different sheets.

something similar happened to me.  Best is open the results sheets and delete all the blank cells. I am running 115 report in 1 sheet and it works fine after deleting blank cells.

Hi Adrian,

I've dealt with the 2 million cell limit with Google Analytics Sheets before. The solution I came up with (as Amit also mentioned in the thread) was to delete blank columns and rows. Here is a sample Google Sheet with a script to automatically Delete Blank Columns and Delete Blank Rows on all tabs in the sheet as well as a YouTube video that walks through how to use the scripts.

Best,

Thanks Amit, thanks Ryan, it's true that was the problem. I've tested now and i can do more reports.

Perfect...I just went to the right of the last column I was using on each spreadsheet and clicked and dragged right, then deleted all those rows.
