Having Error on Running Reports in GA

Hello there,

A Google Spreadsheet was shared with me with GA for me to get reports from. I have installed and added GA into the spreadsheet but whenever I run a report, an error shows up and says:

"1 report failed due to errors

GA: API call to analyticsreporting.reports.batchGet failed with error: User does not have sufficient permissions for this advanced segment."

Could you please advise if I should do something more from my end or should the creator do something else from his end?

If something is not done right on either end, could you please advise what is best in order for me to view and run reports?

Advanced segments in GA are account-specific and referenced by an ID number. The query references a segment id that has not been shared with you.
