Hi All,

I'm now experiencing quite a large data discrepancy between my GA web interface and the Add-On pulled result. I know that in most of cases such discrepancy is due to the sampled data. However, in this case, the Sampling Level in my configuration is already set as "higher precision" for both reports, which means both reports are based on 100% of the total session. Any idea of other possible reason that could lead to such a problem? Thank you very much.

Using "higher precision" doesn't mean reports will be based on 100% of sessions.

Was that your assumption, or are you seeing that in the report?

Hi Philip,

On the top of my Add-On generated report, it says "Contains Sampled Data: No". On the other hand, my web GA also shows the report is base on 100% of the sessions. I'm not sure if those two are the same, but I think they are.

They are the same, and that means no sampling happened for that report. Note, however, that it wasn't because of the higher precision value, it just didn't need sampling.

Why they are different, I have no idea. There's most likely a subtle difference between the two. I'd just double check everything to make sure they're the same.
