Hitting per-profile limit before I come anywhere near 10k requests

Hello,

I'm using GA to fetch rt:pageviews for about 10 profiles. The fetch occurs once a minute. For some reason a single one of these profiles starts throwing back a profile-over-quota error long before I come near 10k read requests (happened at about 600 today). Additionally, all of my other profiles are working fine despite me sending the exact same number of API requests.

I've verified that no one else is making requests using this account against this profile. Is there perhaps a bug in the per-profile quota tracking?
