Hi,
I'm trying the Measurement API to track page views and events. I'm getting http 200 responses so I'm assuming the post requests are being received properly.
However, I don't see the data in the Analytics UI. How long does it take to process and publish the data to the Analytics standard reports? Is it supposed to be real-time? Daily updates?
Thanks for your help
Regards

The data should definitely be available within a day, typically much sooner. You can also use Analytics RealTime reports to see if your pageviews are being processed. If you'd like, you can send me some sample hits or tell me which web property ID (UA-XXXXX-Y) you are using and I can investigate.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for the quick response.
I'm now hitting this url with an HTTP GET request (tried with a POST before too):
The response content I'm getting is something like this: GIF89a
I'm looking at the real time reports and also the standard ones but don't see any hits to the test page /conversionPageWithGET.html.
Do you spot anything wrong on the request?
Thanks
Santiago

You should not send the fully encoded request rather you need to encode each parameter value, for example, instead of sending document title in the URL as:
%26dt%3DMy%20Title
you should send:
&dt=My%20Title
The GIF89a response with response code 200 is the same for all requests and only indicates that we have received the data but is not an indicator that the data is valid.

Hi Jim,
Sorry to keep bugging on this but I still can't get it to work.
So I fixed the encoding, this is an example of a request:
When I send the hits I do see the traffic/page views on the GA real-time reporting. However, I don't see those hits in the standard reports.
Yesterday I sent a bunch of hits and saw them on the realtime report but today I still don't see them consolidated on the standard ones.
Do you see anything wrong with the request format? Or with the account config?
I didn't implement the analytics.js, still using ga.js. Would that be an issue?
Thanks a lot
Regards

Hi Mike,
I issued the same request with my own UA code and am able to see the appview in RealTime reports. Could send me your tracking id (UA-...) and I can investigate?
