Product Updates - Developer Features

Measurement Protocol for GA4 is now out of beta!
The Measurement Protocol allows developers to enrich data that has been automatically collected through tagging from any device or server, like kiosks. With this launch, sessions are now supported. Check out the docs to see how to link events sent via the Measurement Protocol.

Data API now supports Funnels (alpha)
You can now use the new runFunnelReport method in the Google Analytics Data API to get a customized funnel report of your Google Analytics event data.  Funnel exploration lets you visualize the steps your users take to complete a task and quickly see how well they are succeeding or failing at each step. This method is introduced at alpha stability with the intention of gathering feedback on syntax and capabilities before entering beta. Once you have tried out the method, provide feedback on the Data API Funnel Reporting.

Data API now has Java Samples
We added Java samples for most of the endpoints for the Google Analytics Data API. Now, Data API samples include Java, Python, Node.js, .NET and PHP. View the Client Libraries Reference to explore them all.

[Upcoming] Admin API beta availability
The Google Analytics Admin API will be available under beta stability in the upcoming weeks.
