Hi,

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this. I'm just trying
to get started.

This

http://code.google.com/apis/gdata/docs/client-libraries.html

refers me here:

http://code.google.com/p/gdata-java-client/downloads/list

which I am assuming to be the main code repository

and where the most recent zip file is:

gdata-src.java-1.40.2.zip

But this, I assume, is version 1 (?), because of the version jar
files
built with it

However, it seems Version 2 is out there ,

but I can't seem to find where to down load the src files for it.(??)

Thanks
Brian

Hi,

The ZIP file above is correct. This is a bundle containing all Google
Data APIs which all work off of the same underlying framework.

Once you download the source library, all the compiled JARs for Google
Analytics can be found in java/lib. Also if you haven't already
checkout the Google Analytics Java client library getting started
guide, which walks you through getting the all the right dependencies
in place: http://code.google.com/apis/analytics/docs/gdata/2.0/gdataJava.html
