Hi,

I am using the Google Analytics Service v3, and using the dll's provided by Google.

I am using it to access the web properties of an account.

I notice though that there are more web properties returned for an account than there are when I log in through the Google Analytics website? The ones I can see are all old and "deleted".

How can I tell which are currently active and not in a deleted state?

Thanks so much

I also noticed that old/deleted web properties are suddenly now being returned.  This is new behavior as this wasn't happening before.

Is this a bug?

Hi,

Can you send us the account / web property of the deleted entities you are seeing?

That will help us investigate.

Thanks,
-Nick

Hi Nick,

The following deleted web properties are being returned for account 3171728:
  • UA-3171728-2
  • UA-3171728-3
  • UA-3171728-4
Thanks,
Jamie

I have the same issue
I have ghost property with no profiles associated and it does not show up in analytics, only through the API.

Hi, I am having the same issue: webproperties being returned that are not showing up in GA.  I've been using the API Explorer and I don't see a field that denotes "deleted" or "active".

I'm not sure how to filter those out.

I'd also appreciate a link if there's more information elsewhere.

This issue is still happening for us as well.  Didn't happen before so something obviously changed.

Would be great if we got an update from the GA team.

What I'm seeing is that only the "active"/undeleted webproperties actually have profiles.  Seems like a round-about method, but I'm just going to remove the webproperties from my list that don't have profiles for them.

I have the same problem. I've got some deleted properties in my account that I can't find on the website, but when I request all the properties for my account through the API, I get several properties that I don't want to see. How do I fix this?

I suggest you create a new issue at:

it also might be a good idea to post the link to the issue back here once you've opened it, so that others can follow any updates on the issue.

I found the deleted Analytics Property still showing in AdSense Account Settings, but it's not in Analytics Reporting System. How to delete the Analytics Property totally, besides just deleting all the profiles under it? Please help.
