Get Social engagement values using analytics API

Hello,
I want to retrieve social engagement values using metrics &
dimensions combination using analytics API. I searched for it but I
wasn't able to find anything. How can I get it? Any help would be
appreciated. thanks.

Yes. I am implementing full fledged version of google analytics which
will display all the data provided in it. Shall I post the feature
request?

We need this feature as well. Social data has become so much more important these days, so it'd be very useful to have expose this data through the API.
