I am trying to get the Visitors, PageViews, and Goal conversions for a
specific landing page segmented by the source which is driving traffic
to this page. I can get this information in the GA interface by going
to Traffic Sources and selecting a specific traffic source and then
specifying the landing page dimension for the data. Since I have
goals set up it provides me with the visits and goal conversion rate
for each page. Currently I am using an exported report to get the
data into my database, but I would like to use the API to query the
data. It appears that I can't do this from the API documentation -
ga:source and ga:landingpagepath is not a valid combination. I tried
a variety of combinations and I either get a forbidden error, or I get
no data.

You are correct, using D3. Content with D1. Visitor Dimensions is not
supported.

Have a look through the valid combination matrix here :
http://code.google.com/apis/analytics/docs/gdata/gdataReferenceDimensionsMetrics.html#validCombinations

Thanks Nick. Is there any way to use the API to accomplish what I am
trying to do? I am simply trying to allocate traffic to each landing
page to the source that brought the traffic.

Thanks
Stephan

Sure, what you are trying to do makes complete sense.

Unfortunately the only way to do it through the API is to use an
advanced segment which is an open feature request.
