Hi - I recently updated an app and went from the Android v2 Google Analytics SDK to v3. While I followed the API example for setting up the EasyTracker the active user count (as well as the real-time user count) seem greatly exaggerated (possibly as much as 5-10x).

I've cross referenced the same app with Flurry, and Flurry reports about 5-6x fewer Active Users than GA does.
However, for event tracking Google Analytics doesn't seem to have any issue -- the data is accurate.

Attached is a screen shot showing the abrupt change in session data.
Another strange occurrence is that in the Real Time view, I see the majority of my users are on a screen: "(not set)" -- if there is any relation.

Does anyone know what sort of mistake in the app configuration that could cause this problem? Is there any other info I can provide to help isolate the cause of this discrepancy?

Thanks,
Tim

I think I found the issue; using the same tracker id in a service as the application can cause inaccurate session data count.
