using gapi.analytics.auth.authorize with known token

I'd like to use the embed api but without having to use an authorize button. The app will have already gotten permission from the user to access their analytics data and the token will be saved on the server. I looked through the documentation but couldn't find any way to try and use an existing token.  Is this possible?

Doh! I thought I looked through the docs and couldn't find that.  Not sure how I missed it as the auth section was at the top of the page.  Thanks Pete!
