Annotations API

Hey Analytics Team,

Kudos on the great new feature in Analytics Annotations. This is going
to be huge. Before you even have it fully rolled out I'd like to
register my request for access to this via the API. I'd love to be
able to add these annotations in an automated way each time I:

- Add a blog post to my blog
- Send an email newsletter
- Tweet
- Etc.

This would add whole dimensions to my analytic data.

I have long thought that more tightly coupling the publication of data
with statistics would give us more useful data (see:
http://samuel.bowles.es/2007/08/movabletype_dashboard/). I believe
this feature get's us closer than we've been to a powerful system that
allows this kind of functionality.

Thanks for the Kudos!

Providing a way to read and write annotations through our API would
definitely be very powerful.

Currently we don't expose annotation data through the API and we
currently don't support write operations on account configuration/
management data. That being said this sounds like a great feature
request. Do you mind adding it to our existing requests here:
http://code.google.com/p/gdata-issues/issues/entry?template=Analytics%20(Enhancement%20Request)

That way we can better prioritize development efforts.
