Job Title: SAP HCM Business Analyst
Location: Columbia, MD
Duration: Full time
 
The SAP HCM Business Analyst needs to have process modules that support HR: SAP Workflow, On-boarding, applicant tracking, SAP Portal for self-service, Enterprise Compensation Mgt., Organizational Mgt., and Interactive Forms.
 
Responsibilities:
Providing industry standard Human Resources process and technology expertise for critical HR systems and processes.
Researching and achieving best practices related to a variety of Human Resource systems -- SAP HCM, payroll, applicant tracking, on-boarding, SAP Portal, Workflow
Address needs for business process and system solutions in all areas of HR systems
Will work with the business in developing and evaluating business process / technology solutions
Translates business requests into technical and business process requirements
Consults HR on applying current/emerging best practices addressing issues critical to success
Leads the development/documentation of functional requirements within SDLC framework
Business process, system consulting; Project & business analysis; 3rd level support, minor projects; Preventive maintenance - Look for opportunities to leverage SAP, BW/BI, and Sharepoint foundation

Hands-on expertise in SAP HCM (ECC 6.0) :
Personnel Administration
Organizational Management
Enterprise Compensation Management
Workflow
Interactive Forms
Interfaces to External payroll systems.
Identify, establish, and maintain business relationships with HR's final decision makers and managers who influence the selection of solutions
Provide functional support to HR users in areas specified above
Highly familiar with Human Resources function products, operations, business models, processes, systems, objectives and performance measures
