Hi,

Today we made one change to the Data Export API and we are also announcing a couple of upcoming changes to the allowed combinations of dimensions and metrics.

As we’ve messaged before, the Data Feed now returns 0.0 for confidence intervals for all the metrics. To determine if a response has been sampled, please use the containsSampledData field in the response.

We’re also planning to disallow some existing invalid queries that return no data. Specifically the following combinations:
- product dimensions with transaction metrics
- ga:adContent or ga:adGroup with ga:impressions

Instead of returning a response with 0 results, the API will soon return 400 error codes for all the queries that ask for these combinations.

Finally, ga:connectionSpeed has been deprecated since March, and we will stop supporting it within the coming week. If you have a query which uses this dimension, the API will return a 400 error code.

Thanks,
-Nick
