GA Core reporting API

Hi,

I wanted to export GA data and feed into my BI tool, when I read some article regards to usage of GA core reporting API
I saw a sample query which returns the small table(3*4=12 cells). Now I have the fair idea - how GA API works.

Also I saw the limitations - maximum number of dimensions (7) and metrics (10)

But question in my mind @ this moment is - if I wanted to fetch 1 month data from one of my GA view, will it returns the huge rows# in response, similar to above said sample table(3*4)?
I meant CAN core API query serve huge data extract OR should I run query in split manner N times till I get all the data into BI tool?
